We were very lucky recently to receive a mud kitchen from the Friends of Ysgol Y Mynydd Du. The new mud kitchen is sited outside our Foundation Phase classrooms. Diolch yn fawr iawn for all the help fundraising to enable them to purchase this.

The governing body of the school is made up from the Head Teacher, representatives from teaching and non teaching staff, parents, local authority members and community members.

Science Club
Today in science club we finished our balloon powered cars, before racing them down the street!
Code Club
This week we had a very busy time in Code Club!
While some of the children continued with their personal Code Club projects, others were working to code the Micro:Bit to turn Dimmy the Robot into a motion detector or building and creating code using Lego WeDo!
